Training & Credentials

I earned my PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina, following a clinical internship  at The Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, New York. I hold active psychology licenses in Florida (License No. 3139) and North Carolina (License No. 6184).

Clinical Experience

My clinical work has spanned the full continuum of care: from individual out-patient and in-patient psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessment for adults and children, to crisis intervention in emergency room settings (Richland Memorial Hospital), to the supervision of a five-member staff as the Chief Psychologist in evaluating all incoming inmates at the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

Clinical psychology has been the thread running through my entire professional life — from my doctoral training to private practice to the training of the next generation of clinicians.
